Autumn 2

This half term our focus will be 'Transport.'

We will look at going on journeys and which type of transport would be best for each journey. We will explore different modes of transport from around the world including; tuk tuks, the 'Bullet Train' and gondolas. 

We will also think about transport in the past and compare it to the transport that we have now. 

We will learn about George Stephenson and his invention of the steam train in the 1800's.

Lastly, as the weather turns colder, we will also explore the North and South poles and think about the journey explorer Ernest Shackleton made to the Antarctica on his ship 'Endurance.'
