Spring 1

This term is going to be ‘Out of this World!’  We will be finding out all about space and some significant astronauts and astronomers who have discovered what space is like.

We will first explore our own planet (Earth) and think about what it is like to live on our planet. We will also explore gravity and why when we drop something it falls to the floor.

We will then learn about the other planets in our solar system and think about what their features are. We will learn about stars including the fact that The Sun itself is a star that our solar system revolves around. 

We will explore a range of non-fiction books to find out and learn different space facts, as well as enjoying some space adventures in stories.
