We aim to make attending Breakfast Club and Wild Wings as positive an experience, in a welcoming environment, as possible. Our team has excellent experience and your children will be in very safe and caring hands. In addition, Breakfast Club and Wild Wings are run by Glade Academy staff who already know your children well.
Breakfast Club and Wild Wings give children an opportunity to eat together and form friendships with other children throughout the school, not just their class. Each child will be supported to learn and become confident in life skills such as buttering toast, making a sandwich, laying a table and pouring a drink. In addition to this, each child will be expected to assist in cleaning their cutlery and crockery before they go off to take part in provided activities.

Our popular Breakfast Club opens its doors every school morning at 8am and costs £3.50 per session with breakfast included.
Wild Wings operates every day after school and is open to all children who attend Glade Academy. We operate a tiered pricing structure for Wild Wings to offer affordable and flexible choices for parents. Prices are fully inclusive of all activities.
- 3:15pm - 4:30pm = £5
- 4:30pm - 5:30pm = £7 (this will allow children to sign up to other after school clubs if they wish)
- 3:15pm - 5:50pm = £12
Each session your child will be provided with a small snack and drinks (3:15pm – 4:30pm) and a light meal and drinks will be served after 4:30pm. Please see below an example weekly meal plan.
Please note that you do need to book in advance for both of these clubs on Pupil Asset as they are not available on a ‘drop in’ basis. Late or same day bookings for Wild Wings will need to be booked via the school office. Please give the office a call on 01842 811580. To sign your child up or register their interest in Breakfast Club and / or Wild Wings, speak to Mrs Hawkins or Mrs Brooks-White in the school office.
